Dining With a View on Long Island
When individuals eat at restaurants, sometimes they are simply looking for a good meal, while other times the diners want to have fantastic food in a wonderful setting. Sometimes the ambience of an establishment is what actually reels the customer in and makes that individual come back for more, time and time again. If ambiance is what you want then Long Island is the place to be. Long Island has a number of fabulous restaurants which are known not only for their delightful cuisine but their ambience as well. The best way to point out some of the best restaurants that host a "dining with a view" type of atmosphere is to select one or more fine establishments from various regions which really stand out and draw in the patrons.
Central Suffolk Region
One frequently visited restaurant in the Central Suffolk region which attracts patrons based partly on its view is 25 East, American Bistro at Danfords. This restaurant, located in the town of Port Jefferson, is located right on the water where customers can dine and enjoy the spectacular views which greet them. As parts of the restaurant are actually built over the waterway, the diner feels as if he is on a sea vessel of sorts. Along with the excellent food, 25 East, American Bistro hosts the perfect setting as well.
If one is looking for a different type of view to really complement the dining experience, then Giorgios at Fox Hill Country Club may just be the perfect spot. Placed next to a golf course, this Italian restaurant hosts not only great cuisine but a wonderful view as well. One can dine in luxury and overlook luscious golf greens and beautiful gardens. The ambience at Giorgios is superb.
North Fork Region
When one is visiting the North Fork region and is looking to dine in an establishment which has a scenic view, Claudio’s Restaurant and Clam Bar located in Greenport might just be the place to try. This restaurant not only has beautiful water views but it is a historic landmark as well. Claudio’s Restaurant which was built in 1870 is the oldest same family run restaurant still in existence throughout all of the United States. This historical aspect, in and of itself, is a great reason to have a meal here not to mention the great view!
These are just a few of the many fine dining establishments on Long Island which host fantastic views along with their wonderful cuisines.
