Long Island New York Family Fun
 If you are taking a family vacation to the Long Island, New York area you’ll find that there are many things that can entertain the whole family. Places like Boomers, which opened in 1999 has a little bit of everything so if your family has members of many ages this amusement park will inspire fun for everyone! The creators of Boomers really had the whole family in mind when they designed this park. Another great park is Splish-Splash Water Park, which boasts water fun for the whole family! There are numerous amusement and water parks, so look into them when you choose the area you are visiting for a guaranteed good time.
If you want whole family fun without the roller coasters consider a festival or museum instead. The Dinosaur Walk museum is an interactive museum, which children and parents of all ages will love. The museum has over fifteen thousand feet of interactive models and exhibits, which will educate and entertain even the fussiest of children. Mom and Dad just might learn something, also! This is a great stop if you have the chance, and there isn’t much like it anywhere else. If your children like dinosaurs, definitely try to fit this one into your stay, your kids will thank you for sure!
A festival such as the Oyster Bay Oyster Festival can be a great source of entertainment. For 22 years the Oyster Festival has been held in homage to the oyster. If your children have never experienced the taste of fresh oysters or a festival environment, this is a must do for the whole family! There is something for everyone to eat, live entertainment, and just a very memorable experience. With arts and crafts vendors and seafood galore all with a waterfront view! Does it get any better than that?
