A-Town Holiday Comedy Show
Candlelite Cabaret Lounge

Sponsored in part by Toys for Tots, this comedy show is the fifth one these comedians are performing in Amityville; this time collecting gifts for needy children. Host and producer Jamie Roberts says “The first four shows captured what comedy is all about-the ability of all walks of life to come together and enjoy themselves at an event meant to please all.” With Toys for Tots sponsoring, he adds, “Comedy and charity work are two ingredients necessary to bring joy into someone’s heart during the holiday season.” For more information visit website at www.jamieroberts.com

Sunday November 29:
Bone Marrow Donor Drive
Farmingville Fire Department
Horseblock Road
1-5 pm

When we think about holiday activities, it is doubtful that registering as a bone marrow donor would cross our minds. But unfortunately for one family, getting as many people to do just that is forefront in their lives. Six year old Julianna Buttner of Farmingville has cancer and her only chance for survival is receiving a bone marrow transplant from an unrelated donor. Potential donors must be between 18 and 55 and in general good health. Come out and register…you could save Julianna or another person’s life. For more information contact Amanda Nable at (212) 209-6704 or visit their website at www.dkmsamericas.org
