Sledding Adventures on Long Island
Nassau County Located on the South Shore of Long Island is Bethpage State Park which provides a wide variety of activities for those individuals in the Long Island area, one of which is sledding. This scenic state park is located in Farmingdale and is a big hit with individuals indulging in sledding fun once a good snowfall hits. Cedar Creek Park, located in Seaford, is one of the parks in the Nassau County region which offers sledding hills to the public. Those who wish to bring their own sleds can have the run of the hill in January and February when the sled hills are in operation. The Christopher Morley Park is another park which is known for its great sledding hills. Located in Roslyn-North Hills, Christopher Morley Park provides a place for individuals to enjoy fresh snow, wide rolling hills and a fantastic time. Why not make it an even better day filled with wintertime fun by bringing along the ice skates for some skating on the outdoor rink amidst the sled runs. Another park to consider sledding at is Grant Park, located in Hewlett on the South Shore. This park also provides a large sled run where individuals can have the time of their lives sledding with their friends and family members.
