Great Things to See and Do on Valentine’s Day on Long Island

For those individuals who are looking for fun and romantic things to do on Valentine’s Day, there are a wealth of options available to them on Long Island. From exquisite restaurant dining to wine tastings and tours, one is sure to find the perfect Valentine’s Day event to impress their date. Martha Clara Vineyards Chocolate Making Demonstration

There is perhaps no item more akin to Valentine’s Day than chocolate. For that reason, there is no better way to spend Valentine’s Day than at a local winery taking part in a chocolate making demonstration. At Martha Clara Vineyards located in Riverhead, one is able to view a chocolate making demonstration being performed by Chef Jeff Trujillo. This cooking demonstration which is held from 1 -4 p.m. is free to the public and will provide an interesting insight into the making of this delectable Valentine’s Day delight. Once the demonstration is completed, individuals may wish to tour the winery and enjoy some wine tasting as well. For those individuals who are looking to start their Valentine’s Day celebration early in the day, Martha Clara Vineyards provides the perfect event.

Visit a Local Art Museum

There are a number of art museums throughout Long Island which paint the perfect picture for a romantic Valentine’s Day. What could be more romantic than strolling through an art museum and viewing the beautiful paintings, sculptures and photographs from various times and places? Many of the art museums have restaurant dining as well which provides a great option for a Valentine’s Day meal. If one is looking to have a unique Valentine’s Day, spending part of the day at one of the art museums on Long Island may just be the perfect thing to do.
