My grad student boyfriend and I are looking for a quiet, one bedroom apartment for $1000 or less. We need a place that is within walking distance of the university or within walking distance of public transportation. We are hoping to sign a lease for the beginning of August but we need to find an apartment sometime during May 20-28 (when I will be in the area to help look for an apartment) so if we have to sign a lease for sooner we would be willing to consider that option.
