New member saying hello

Hello-

I found the site when I did a "Google" on Long Island. I was looking for information on clubs and such to join on LI. I find myself with a bit of free time to fill and can only go to the wineries every so often, because otherwise I would be accused of being a lush!So...I popped on here looked at some of the posts and decided to register to say hello.
I like to play golf however it is difficult to find other females to play and most women's leagues are for ladies who have the weekdays free. Any suggestions out there?
