Cell phone service?

what are you using? i had at&t it was ok, it wasn't the best but ever since cingular took over my calls have been dropping more then usal. i've talk to a few others and they've notice that a few weeks ago when cingular offically started to change the network.


anyone have any thoughts?

I've been through all of them, I think:

AT&T: sucked
Nextel: mostly sucked, cell phone service was awful
Cingular (have it now): Was great at the beginning, quality has been going downhill over the last year or so.
Verizon (have it now): not bad, works really good in the city, works in places my Cingular phone doesn't.

Verizon get the best signal, their network is larger than other service.
I have nextel, its not great but its ok I guess. Isn't Nextel cellphone service just came out like 15yrs ago?

Verizon and Nextel phone cost and arm and a leg...such a rip off for the present customer.

Verizon and Nextel phone cost and arm and a leg...such a rip off for the present customer.actually I live out on the east end of long island and the best services out here are probably Cingular is the best followed by Verizon Nextel is good for the two way and Sprint is pretty decent too. Do Not go with anything other than that.

I was a die hard AT&T fan for years but eventually moved over to Verizon Wireless about 2 years ago...... It's been smooth sailing with Verizon so I can't complain....
