It seems that no matter what age men are, they are looking for that "Perfect Woman" (the only perfect person died on the cross), there is no one that is perfect.............and it seems as though many, many men (and I'm sure women also) are just looking for a 1 night stand.

Aren't there any real, honest men left?????????????/

But I understand how difficult it can be. Most of the men we speak to are looking for a younger woman and we have to proof people just to keep them in the correct age category. Double standard I know...

Most of the Speed Dating emails I've received are all for people under 50 or are in New York City...........

It seems that Baby Boomers are totally forgotten about.......and anyway, I think that Speed Dating is a joke..........so are the single ads on the dating sites....too many men and women lie..............it's all a joke..........men want young women to build up their egos, and these women want their money.....not a good combination.........

I guess if it's meant to be that I meet someone, I will, somewhere at sometime and if not, that's fine too..........I am happy with myself and do not need a man to make me happy even though it would be nice to share part of your life with another...........

Please tell me, where are all these men hiding?????????????? They are not in the Single Groups :confused2 that are in Suffolk County.......it seems that the men, even the ones over 50, are looking for one thing and one thing only.........been there done that.........

I'm not a teenager anymore and very honestly, it is very hard to meet a "gentleman".............unless you are introduced by someone.......if you have any secrets of where to meet someone, please tell me........

Hi, your right, most of the speed dating events are in Manhattan, but some companies do cater to the Long Island market. We have events for women up to age 55. I would love to have events for an even more mature crowd, but just have not found the interest from the men.

As far as speed dating being a joke? . You should talk to the 14 engaged couples and ask them if it is a joke. Just like with everything else in life, sometimes a little bit of luck or chance goes into who you might meet that specific night

Well...i know a few single wonderful men..but i don't want any part of being the middle person.

There are tons of good men here in long Island- they open doors for you, never let you open your purse to pay, pull the seat belt for you when you're in the car and pull you away when you walk toward a puddles- that how you know they are paying attention to you.
