Hello All,
I took the attached photo in early 2002 while working in Long Island on computers from Ground Zero.
I cannot now remember where exactly it was, but probably somewhere on the Atlantic side of the island, possibly Great South Bay or South Oyster Bay and I am hoping to return with my wife for a holiday next year and would like to find it again - can you help locate this, or do you know anyone who can?.
Directly at my back was a small harbour with only a few boats moored there and I seem to remember we crossed a small rail line to get there.
Hope you or someone else can help with this, thanks in anticipation.
ps I thought that the Fire Island lighthouse was superb, much better than the ones we have at home in England. There even was a place called Saltaire, the same name as a place near my home!
