I am a young woman who recently relocated to Long Island (Near SUNY Stony Brook). I am looking for a community of people, particularily women, who would enjoy doing things like getting together and painting a mural (no artistic skills necessary), balancing stones, encouraging each others creative talents or other goals and ambitions, sharing openly with each other, going to the beach and playing in the sand, offering practical support when one of us is in need, learning together, laughing together, crying together. In other words, developing a community of authentic and vital friendship.
