As somebody who's been going to a lot of interviews lately, I'm interested in knowing what these are. Can you post them here?

Great day Mikelbeck: The questions you should never ask on the interview when asked, do you have any questions for me are: questions that relate to...salary(I created, designed and implement a workshop on The Art of salary negotiation, but that's for another time), benefits, what happened to the last person in this position?, financial stability of organization(do your homework/research) or promotions. There is a specific time and place when those questions should come up. If you have any further job related questions, contact michael coritsidis, Job Ready Strategist.

I've been doing a lot of phone interviews lately, and one of the first things I ask is about salary. That's only because I've been offered positions that pay about a third of what I was making before and don't want to waste anybody's time by talking about a position there's no way I would take. You're saying this is a bad thing to do?

Dear mikelbeck:
I congratulate you for being in one place for so long. Today's job climate is different. It is an employer's market. Today, the salary question has many layers to it. Based on your skills and qualifications, you want to be compensated at fair market value. I undersatand. The question that needs to be asked and given the fact that for every one position that is available, there are at least one hundred qualified candidates, is today's employer willing to do so? If not, how long are you financially capable of being unemployed? My client's call me the "Dr. Phil" of job ready, because I tell it like it is. To be continued...michael coritsidis, Job Ready Strategist
