Hudson & McCoy is a seafood specialty restaurant based at Freeport, New York. Set in a classical 1940s waterfront scene, the restaurant brings together the air of a bygone era and the splendor of fish specialties, both traditional and innovative.
As expected, Hudson & McCoy menu is mostly seafood dominated. There are lots of dishes of fish, lobster, and prawns, alongside few chicken and vegetarian victuals. Some of the must-try fish items on the menu include the McCoy specials (which vary daily), fish pastas, grilled fish and steamed lobster. Chicken steaks and Hudson & McCoy burgers provide the much needed variety. Vegetarian dishes featuring in the menu include mashed potatoes, French fries, rice pilaf and cole slaw. But, if you are a strict vegetarian, this is not the place you must find yourselves in. Here vegetarian is only a side dish, and not the main course. Other items featuring in the menu include some of the best American desserts, coffee & tea, and appetizers.
The oversized Oyster Bar in Hudson & McCoy is famous for its American oysters, clams, shrimps, mussels and crab cakes. Hudson & McCoy also plays host to business holiday parties, birthday events and wedding events. On order, its 3 rooms are customized to accommodate virtually any event.
The Hudson & McCoy Fish House & Bar is situated on 340 Woodcleft Avenue, in Free Port. It will soon have another branch opening at Garden City.
