City Cafe Restaurant and Piano Bar is Long Island’s only supper club with live entertainment. It is renowned amongst the city residents for its mouth watering Italian cuisine and lovely live performances. The restaurant is located just off the Meadowbrook Parkway in Garden City, New York.
The City Café Restaurant offers to its patrons, four days a week of stunning European treat, which they can enjoy while dancing or listening to the performance of Long Island’s best entertainment troupes. This is the scene of the main dining room, which is complete with a stage, dance floor, seating arena and a fully stocked bar that serves the best of American and European beverages and wines. For those who wish to be in a little quieter setting, there is the patio room, where one can enjoy his/her meal with no much noise, but only a hint of the live action that is going on in the main dining room reverberating in the background.
The City Café Restaurant’s menu is typically Italian with an American flavor. If you are a European, you may be able to deduce the definite Americanism in the flavor. But, for somebody in America, it is Italian cuisine.
Apart from its normal role as a restaurant, the City Café also plays host – quite frequently - to corporate lunches and dinners, wedding showers, religious celebrations, and private parties. On and off premise catering is also there in the restaurant’s list of services.
From Meadowbrook Parkway, the City Café is 1/8 miles on the right side, after making the right onto the Steward Avenue.
