Smith Haven Mall is a shopping mall and a nearby group of big box stores based in Lake Grove, New York. The complex encompasses an area of 1,400,000 sq ft of retail space, with the main building – the first one to be constructed in 1969 – being a single-storey construction (having a floor area of 800,000 sq ft) housing over 140 shops and restaurants. The Smith Haven Mall is owned by Melvin Simon & Associates, one of the leaders in shopping mall construction business.
