Email Scamming!

The new business world on the internet seems to be scamming you out of getting your email address. It's getting sooo bad... Ever get to a website and inorder to get to read anything you need to supply your email address?

I just did.... Every single click generated a sign-in box.... Unbelievable!... The internet is supposed to be a way to get information.

Every website wants to scoop up your email address to put you into there "Newsletter" list...

Whats that equal? A spambox full of email forever.... UNFREEKINBELIEVABLE! and then even worse - most of them probably sell the email address to other marketing companies....

Some Help: don't open unknown emails or obvious spam; usually the senders will think your address is dead and stop the emails. You will also protect yourself from virus.

Hey - RMW - If it was only that easy.....

Every time you sign a guest book on the internet or post your email address static on any readable pages your email address can be picked up by special software spiders?? There email gathering robots who's soll purpose is to collect email addresses... Like a search engine reads a page - an email spider finds an email and logs it in its database..... After collected - they will sell the information to companies for marketing....

Ever see someone write there email address like this::

myname (AT) aol.com

there avoiding the robots....

Robots are programed to gather anything around an @ sign like "myname@aol.com"
