'93 Honda Civic Si 5-speed FOR SALE - It has high mileage, 188,000, but it's a Honda after all and I expect it could go well over 225,000 if it's properly taken care of. It is teal green. If you don't know what the Si model is; it's the 3-door hatchback. Very tiny...very fast! I am the second owner and have owned the car for 4 years. The first owner used it to commute from the Hamptons into the city, therefore alot of the miles are "highway miles". Considering the age and the amount of miles, I have not had to do much to the car over 4 years; new clutch about 3 years ago, new tires about 8 months ago, new distributor (not rebuilt) about 2 years ago. Other than that, it's really only been minor repairs (brakes, etc...). I have had the oil changed religiously every 2500-3000 miles (it needs an oil change now). There are a few things that I know needs to be fixed on it; the second latch for the hood needs to be fixed, I think it needs brake pads, the emergency brake doesn't work (never has since I've owned it) and there is a minor leak in the radiator (by minor, it means I keep an eye on the antifreeze and add a little bit every other week or so). Also, the stereo I had installed was stolen just about 3 weeks ago so there is no radio at all. I want to be as honest as I can in selling this car. By the same token, I know how good this car has been and how good it could be for a while to come for someone who will take as good care of it as I have, so I have a definite price range in mind and I know the car is worth that much. Please respond to this thread if you are interested and I will contact you.
