What's up! I can use all the advice you have to offer. I'm 24 years old now, but when I was 15 I was struck with a severe social anxiety. My anxiety was so bad that I dropped out of high school. I'm finally over my anxiety and try to go out more often. My only problem now is....how do I find people to hang out with? I work full time and most of the employees at this company are in their fourties or fifties. I'd like to meet people my own age. Men and women. It's espicially hard for me to find male friends to hang out with because I'm a guy and don't want other guys to think I'm gay.

First off, dollface, you need to change that attitude about guys thinking you're gay.

If they do...oh well! Then they are probably gay and interested in you!...that, or really insecure about their own sexuality and have to pass it off on someone else.

Second...I don't know about you, but I grew up in West Nassau County (East Rockaway) and then, right after high school, came out to Southampton to go to college. And there's NOTHING out here for me and my friends. We don't like rap or hip-hop or whatever that crap they play at clubs is called. And we don't really drink, and we don't do drugs, and I don't have sex (my roommate would, but she's ugly...hehe just joking). But anyway...there's nothing to do out here for a sXer (straight edger).

Edit: Search for people on MSN! MSN profiles are easy to find ppl in your area--Yahoo profiles too. That's why strange Egyptian guys always talk to me...?? Yeah.
