Hey, I'm Kitty...my roomie and I are looking for a place to live out here in the Hamptons--but since we're college students, we're on a really tight budget. No place we've checked out has even so much as called us back! We've been searching and searching the web and the classifieds.

We work at Radio Shack in Southampton Village...so with gas and traffic, our optimal location would be from Westhampton on Eastward...Max rent $800/mo or more with another roommate.

If anyone has any info and could help us out pleeeeeease contact me!

...Why is there nothing on this end of the island for a 4X sXer who doesn't like clubbing? THERE ARE NO SOCIAL GATHERINGS!...I'm inclined to start a sewing circle or something, sheez. I'm from Western Nassau County and I'm not used to having nothing around to do--and no friends either, except my roommate :(. Oh well...

Ah, someone finally asked!
The term "x" and "straight-edger" refer to someone who does not do one or some or any of the four X's: Xdrugs, Xdrinking, Xsmoking or Xsex. The term originated in the clubs of Manhattan in the 1980's when clubgoers under 21 had an X drawn on the back of their hands in permanent marker so that they could not buy drinks while at the club. The tradition still stands at some establishments, and the terminology, while now much-abused by posers, still rings true for some of us older X'rs. sXe is simply a short way to say straight edge. ^^ Did that make sense?
