Hello,
I've recently excepted a position on Long Island and have never visited before and would like some advice from some nice people.
I am interested in finding a place to live on the Island and am not sure where I should live. My territory is up to 120 miles and I want to live in a place that is not such a huge transition since I'm coming from the West and already know that there is going to be one. I've lived in Boston for three years previously so I like the east coast.
I'm athletic, nice, down to earth and not pretentious (Could not afford to live and the Hamptons are too far away)
Want some energy and do not want to be issolated. By the tennis courts somewhere and in a place that has lots of shops and restaurants to walk to.
Also an hour or less into Manhattan by LIRR and as little driving and parking hassles as possible Any suggestions? Thank you.
