When arriving in Montauk by vehicle, you will be coming in from the roads on the west side and will first be greeted by the beautiful Montauk village. When you arrive in town one of the first buildings you'll see immediately on your right hand side of the street is the Montauk Chamber of Commerce. If your getting in during the day or early evening, be sure to stop at the chamber as they will have many visiting ideas, brochures and details about what is nearby. The Chamber of Commerce is always glad to help you enjoy your stay in the area.
In the village, you will have many opportunities for choosing a place to check in overnight or for however long you plan your stay. You'll also have plenty of choices to shop, eat, or catch some entertainment. We will showcase as much as we can here in this section for you to choose a place online. If you travel to Montauk Point to see the lighthouse, which is a must if you're here, you'll go about a 10 minuet ride east. Don't forget to bring everything you need before heading to the lighthouse as there is a limited amount available to you once you get there. Trust me, I know from first hand experience...
