DUCKS ANNOUNCE ANNUAL JOB FAIR DATE Organization will hold interviews on Sat., March 5 at Citibank Park (Central Islip, N.Y., Feb. 8, 2005) – Long Island Ducks team officials today announced the date and starting time for their annual job fair at Citibank Park. On Saturday, March 5, the Ducks front office will be accepting applications and interviewing candidates beginning at 9:00 a.m. “Seasonal employees of the Ducks can look forward to a fun and rewarding work experience,” says Ducks general manager Michael Hirsch. “These team members are an essential part of our operation. We rely on them to make the fan experience at Citibank Park a memorable one.” The Ducks will be interviewing for the following positions: ushers, ticket takers, vendors, Waddle In Shop, parking lot attendants, box office assistants and clubhouse assistants. All applicants must be 16 years of age or older. The job fair will be held until 2:30 p.m. with those in attendance receiving first consideration for employment. The Ducks will continue to accept applications following the job fair. CenterPlate, the food service provider of the Long Island Ducks, will also be interviewing candidates for the following positions: seasonal interns, stand managers and vendors. The Long Island Ducks, 2004 Atlantic League champions, play their home games at Citibank Park and are entering their sixth season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
