It Doesn't Get Any Easier Than This LIPA Launches "Easy Street" A New Online Option for Customers Uniondale, NY-February 21, 2006-More and more, consumers are seeking ways to streamline their lifestyles'. To that end, the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) has a new option that makes paying LIPA bills as simple as point and click with LIPA's Easy Street Program. "We're always seeking ways to respond to customer requests and to improve customer service," said LIPA Chairman Richard M. Kessel "Easy Street is another fine example of the kinds of initiatives LIPA has put in place to help make our customers' lives a little less complicated." When a LIPA customer signs up for Easy Street, he or she will no longer receive a paper bill. Instead the customer will receive an email notification that their new bill is available to view online. In addition, customers can also pay their bill automatically by having the amount due deducted from their bank account. Now you can spend the time you usually spend paying your LIPA bill doing something more enjoyable, and it couldn't be easier. "Easy Street" is one of LIPA's many billing and payment programs, along with e-LERT, DirectPay and Balanced Billing that will help make paying LIPA bills easier.
