“LIPA’s Web site averages over 580,000 views per month, and has become a crucial tool in LIPA’s ongoing efforts to keep our customers informed, and to provide more choices regarding the use of electricity,” said LIPA Chairman Richard M. Kessel. “LIPA is committed to providing our customers with the type of excellent service and valuable information they’ll need to get the most out of their energy dollars.”

LIPA’s Web site continues to add new features and information regularly. The Web site has added audio recordings, streaming audio and video and, high resolution photos of LIPA’s press conferences and special events. Features such as the My Account Home page, the My Account Bank section, the Clean Energy Initiative (CEI) section, the Storm Center and the Your Home section also continue to draw record numbers of visitors.
