MIKE FAGAN & JIBJAB.COM DEBUT

Mike Fagan: The new face of the latest cartoon by JibJab.com.

Mike Fagan of Massapequa, is an AAA employee, and just may be the most luckiest man on Long Island… but is it all just luck? His ability to win numerous radio contests on WBAB radio has earned him the nickname, “Triple A Mike”...but as Mike tells me a little bit more, it seems that he has a little talent to go with that luck.

It started out as a typical day for Fagan, when he received an email from Jibjab.com (he receives their free newsletter and is a big fan). Jibjab.com was holding a contest for its subscribers; send in some photos of yourself (funny faces), and enter to win your face as one of the characters on Jibjab’s latest comedic cartoon. “Being the naturally comedic and funny guy I am,” Mike says, “I figured what the heck, and sent some photos of myself I took with my web cam.” Could it be the confidence of his ability, or just plain luck that ranked him 1st out of 6,700 entries!

Mike has always had a humorous way about him, enjoying making his friends and family laugh. No doubt that this little attribute helped Mike win the Jibjab contest which included a starring role in the latest Jibjab craze, “Big Box Mart,” and a trip to L.A. for the premiere of his cartoon on the “Tonight Show” (with Jay Leno) where Mike was an honored guest, and was put in the spotlight while waving to the millions of fans at home.

Mike’s cartoon also made an appearance on CNN, Lou Dobbs, Inside Edition, and CNBC. You can check out Mike’s star debut at Jibjab.com, where he plays an average “American Joe” buying so much junk from the huge department store, "Big Box Mart", that he ends up loosing his job, and working for them!

Mike just recently returned from his four day whirlwind adventure out in LA, and was informed that the cartoon he cameoed in has been getting loads of media attention. Could this be the beginning of Mike Fagan’s Hollywood career? Well one things for sure, if he plans on taking on Hollywood, he is going to need all the luck he can get…. And he just might have it!!
