GOLF TOURNAMENT AT PIPING ROCK CLUB COMMACK, NY, June 8, 2006 - - The CEO of the Long Island Head Injury Association, Liz Giordano, announced today that the group’s 21st Annual Golf Tournament will be played on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at the Piping Rock Club in Locust Valley, NY. Although all playing spots are sold out, the organization is offering companies, associations and individuals the opportunity to be a part of this prestigious event by becoming a tournament sponsor for $5,000 or a hole sponsor (signage on both tee and green) for $500. Sponsorship reservations and inquiries are being taken at Major sponsors already associated with the function include Bed, Bath & Beyond, US Trust Company of New York and Goldman, Sachs & Co. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Long Island Head Injury Association, which is dedicated to providing support for persons with head injuries and their families. It is the Association’s goal to reach out to those in need; as well as to provide legislative advocacy, awareness, family support services, recreational services, and planning for long term care.
