WCWP and Toys of Hope Celebrate!
 From October 31st, 2005, until Monday, December 12th 2005, WCWP has been holding a Christmas Toy and Collection drive in conjunction with Toys of Hope. These six weeks of giving will culminate in a special ceremony held at the station on Friday December 16th, 2005 at 12 noon. A representative of Toys of Hope will be on hand to accept the toys on behalf of the organization, and the general public is invited to attend this momentous occasion.
 The mission of Toys of Hope is to provide toys, books, clothing, activities, and other items to needy and homeless children, and their families. The guiding principal behind the Toys of Hope mission is that all children are deserving of those things which can help give them a happier and more fulfilling life. A new toy can mean everything to a needy or homeless child. It provides fun and enjoyment, and gives a child a sense of pride in having something of their very own. Toys of Hope also provides essential items to needy families so that thy can become more self sufficient, and in turn, help to improve their child's lives.
WCWP is a non-profit radio station which has been serving Long Island University's C.W. Post Campus for over 40 years.
