Wine Tasting and Gourmet Dining Auction to benefit Long Islands' Abused & Abandoned Youth
Long Island Adolescent & Family Services, Inc. (LIAFS www.liafs.org) will be holding its 5th Annual "Moveable Feast" Fundraiser to raise money for Long Islands' homeless, runaway, abandoned and abused youth. LIAFS provides teens in need with housing, food, dental, medical, tutoring, as well as recreational and cultural activities. They also provide a safe way out of gang life. This years' event will honor our special guest Senator John J. Flanagan whose support of LIAFS is truly appreciated. If you too, would like to help the youth of Long Island find hope and gain the skills they need for their future success, please come join us for the feast.
The event will be held on Friday, October 28th, 2005 from 7-10 pm at Lombardi's on the Sound in Port Jefferson. Tickets are $75 per person. The evening will include wine-tasting from some of Long Islands' Finest Wineries; Duckwalk Vineyards, Osprey Dominion and The Jamesport Vineyard. There will be live entertainment throughout the evening and an auction for the following special prizes: Trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City, A New Computer System, A Flat Screen TV, Cases of Wine, Custom Golf Apparel designed by Gino Green Global and other fabulous gifts.
