Welcome to the new area of Long Island Exchange for press releases and news worth information which will be posted by our visitors, members, and Long Islanders looking to get the word out about an event or anything they find newsworthy.

 In the past, all press releases had to go through our approval and then would be uploaded to site by our staff. With this new addition to our site, we will allow users to begin submitting their own press releases and information and automatically have it posted to Long Island Exchange.

 Another reason we decided to add this functionality is that these days RSS feed and syndicating content is becomming not only increasingly popular, but increasingly effective for the users who are using the service. We want to provide as much as we can to benefit the people using the service and thus have decided to give more control to our visitors and site users.
