Irish Business Network BBQ Brings Out the Irish
August 22, 2006, Smithtown, NY – The first ever Networking Barbecue sponsored by the Irish Business Network (IBN) was a grand success. Says President, Michael T. Hanley, Hanley & Lawton CPAs, “We had a great turnout, over 65 guests, and we were especially honored that some of our local politicians attended as well. I’d like to thank Assemblyman Michael J. Fitzpatrick (R-Smithtown), Superintendent of Highways Dan Ryan (D-Smithtown), and Director of Consumer Affairs Charles Gardner for including our event in their hectic schedules.”
The IBN is a group of dedicated men and women business owners and business professionals whose aim is to promote business & growth and the overall well-being of the Irish population on Long Island. They do this by running events for business, the community, schools, and civic organizations. Hanley, the group’s President says, “It’s an honor not only to be a part of this wonderful group, but to know that they have put their faith in my leadership.”
