SPORTSCASTER ANN LIGUORI OF WESTHAMPTON TO BE HONORED

AT LOCAL CHARITY GOLF OUTING ON OCTOBER 10

WESTHAMPTON, NY, Sept. 8, 2006 - - TV & Radio sports personality and full-time Westhampton, NY, resident Ann Liguori will be honored at the Family Counseling Service’s annual Golf Tournament, “Building Communities, “on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at Hampton Hills Golf and Country Club in Westhampton.
            Playing spots are still available in the full-day event, including brunch, golf, halfway house, cocktails, buffet dinner, live auction, raffles and awards.
            Liguori is being honored for her long-time support of the group, as well as her contributions to the Westhampton community and her personal career achievements.  Most recently, she covered the U.S. Open Tennis Championships for two weeks for WFAN/660 AM radio in New York, providing the station with three live update reports an hour.
Established in 1971, Family Counseling Service, a community-based agency, has been serving the greater Westhampton Community with offices in Shirley, as well as clinical staff placed in a number of the area schools. FCS provides counseling to families, children and adults who suffer with emotional problems, developmental disorders, alcohol and substance abuse, domestic violence and child abuse.  All proceeds from the golf tournament will support the programs and services that FCS provides for individuals and families in need.
