Long Island Karting Association holds annual Karting EXPO
The Long Island Karting Association, LIKA, is holding their annual Karting EXPO on Sunday February 11th from 12 noon to 4:00pm at the Hilton in Melville on Route 110.
If you are looking to learn about go kart racing or if you are an experienced racer, this is the place to obtain all of the information you will need before the race season starts on April 1st.
During the EXPO you will be able to meet the LIKA Board of Directors, Go Kart shop owners and learn about the plans for go kart racing on Long Island.
Go kart racing is for both the “young†and the “not so young anymoreâ€. Children can start racing as young as 5 yrs old and some of our older drivers are grandparents. Go kart racing is a great family event and builds the bonds between parents and their children. So, if you have ever watched a race on television and said I’d like to do that, this is the place to get started.  Â
