May Art Classes at the East End Arts Council

Riverhead, NY –The East End Arts Council Community School of the Arts is offering a new class designed to bridge the gap between drawing and painting and bring amateur artists to the next level. Taught by award-winning artist Anna Jurinich, instruction will be given in drawing skills as a foundation to painting and the progression to finished work. Classes will be held on Mondays from 1– 3 PM beginning May 7.

Also offered this spring is charcoal portraiture, including instruction in charcoal and sketch & wash pencil, portrait technique and demonstration. Classes will be held on Thursdays 6–8 PM beginning May 10.
