The Miller Lite Beach Volleyball Leagues at Cedar Beach in Babylon are still accepting players and teams for leagues on Monday through Thursday nights. The leagues are held on the beach in front of the Beach Hut, which has live entertainment along with nightly food and drink specials making it the best place to play on Long Island.

The leagues will have divisions for doubles, triples, coed 6-player teams and 4-player teams. There will also be a Junior Davison for boys and girls 8-18 years old. Leagues will be held as follows:

Monday: Competitive and recreational level coed 6s

Tuesday: Coed triples, any gender 4s, Competitive and recreational level coed 6s

Wednesday: Male & female doubles, AA, A & B levels

Thursday: Competitive and recreational level coed 6s

There will be divisions for players of all levels. Novice and intermediate players will compete in two separate 6-player divisions; while more experienced players will compete in the 4-player divisions. Teams will play 3 to 6 games each night leading up to the Miller Lite Long Island Championships Sept. 15 at the Beach Hut, Cedar Beach in Babylon.

Single players can be placed on teams. New teams should go to www.eevb.net/leagues.htm for registration info. Additional leagues are also held in Long Beach and Hampton Bays.
