Riverhead, NY—May 21, 2007—The East End Arts Council is proud to announce the appearance of several renowned local storytellers at the 11th Annual Community Mosaic Street Painting Festival on Sunday, May 27th(rain date: May 28th). Alternating with Talking Drum West African interactive drumming circles under the Storytelling Tent, our professional tale-spinners are sure to transport all listeners, adults and children alike, to the land of make-believe. Here’s the schedule for this year:
12:30-1:15- Johnny Cuomo, interactive musician and storyteller
2:15-3:00- Joyce Duncan, African Folk Heritage storyteller
4:00-4:45- Harvey Heilbrun, interactive musician and storyteller

Summer Art Classes, Riverhead, NY— The Community School of the Arts is now taking registration for summer art & music classes. For kids there’s African Drumming, Pinhole photography, Nautical Art, Book Making, Mommy & Me Art, Group Guitar, Youth Choir, Teen Theatre, On Camera Acting and more.
