Lollipop Kid comes to Long Island
 ”The Lollipop Kid” from 1939 classic The Wizard of OZ comes to Long Island New York
“The Lollipop Kid†Jerry Maren, who will be forever remembered for handing Dorothy a lollipop in the 1939 classic The Wizard of OZ, will be flying from Hollywood to NY to support the humanitarian efforts of Angel’s Gate Hospice & Rehabilitation Center in Fort Salonga, NY.
Jerry along with his wife Liz will attend a Rainbow Garden Party at the exclusive Westbury Manor, Westbury NY on August 14, 2007.
Refreshments and Meet & Greet will begin at 6:30PM
Mr. Maren, now 87-years-old, is one of seven surviving Munchkins. He was recently inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During his career he had appeared in 39 films. He also played Buster Brown and The World’s Littlest Chef.
Angel’s Gate is the Nations first residential hospice for animals. Our mission is to care for animals who are in final stages of life as well as animals with handicaps.
