Long Islanders Lend Helping Hand in New Orleans in Wake of 2 Year Anniversary OF Hurricane Katrina
August 29th marks the second anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath that New Orleans still lives with. New Yorkers are in New Orleans this week. The founders of LIHome411.com are volunteering with Phoenix of New Orleans (PNOLA) to rebuild homes in (Mid City), a New Orleans neighborhood devastated by flooding and struggling to get on its feet.
LIHome411.com, Long Island’s local source for home improvement contractors has partnered with PNOLA to raise $1,000,000 to help real people in New Orleans rebuild their homes and their lives.
