Fish Found Swimming at West 48th Street and Avenue of the Americas

basspro1.jpgNew York City, NY — If you happen to be near West 48th and Avenue of the Americas around 10 am Saturday, September 15th, you will be able to see something that’s probably never been seen before in downtown New York City.

More than 100 New York native game fish will be swimming around in a 53-foot long, 8-foot wide, 12-foot high, 6,000-gallon aquarium on wheels. Six members of the Bass Pro Shops Next Generationâ„¢ Pro Team will be on hand talking to the crowd about the various species of fish in the aquarium including bass, walleye, muskie, northern pike, and others. You can even try your casting skills, learn the basics of fly fishing, and discover all the great outdoors has to offer you and your family.

The Next Gen Kids can be seen on the Bass Pro Shops Next Generation™ TV show on the Versus Network. The kids, along with Bass Pro Shops® Pro Fishing Team member Stacey King, will be visiting with those that stop by about how they can get involved in the outdoors and fishing at numerous National Hunting and Fishing Days events to be held around the country in September.
