“Forget Me Not” Mother’s Day Makeover Contest Results

 (Lake Grove, N.Y.) “Ever since I was a little girl I always admired my mother. She has such strength and wisdom that really make her beautiful inside and out,” wrote Dayna Vasilik, daughter of a Gentle Touch Laser of Smith Haven Mall “Forget Me Not” Mother’s Day Makeover Contest winner. Vasilik is one of three children whose mother was selected to receive the $5,000 makeover package.

Gentle Touch Laser of Smith Haven Mall organized the makeover contest to honor mothers who made significant sacrifices or overcame hardships to provide for their children. Carmen Martinez wrote, “My mommy has been our inspiration. After a brutal divorce, she struggled again, a single mother of three. We appreciate the woman she was, is and will continue to be.”

The makeover package includes microdermabrasion, chemical peel, Radiesse® wrinkle correction, Botox®, a total hair makeover, manicure, pedicure, full makeup and massage. All Laser Hair Removal and medical grade skin treatments are performed by Sharon McDonough, RN, Certified Cosmetic RN Specialist. “We want to help these mothers feel as special and beautiful as they are to the most important people in their lives,” said McDonough.

For every submission, a donation will be made to the Long Island Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
