   National Lampoon’s Comedy Officially Opens

National Lampoon’s Comedy Officially Opens at Dave & Buster’s in Farmingdale, New York

(Farmingdale, N.Y.­)­ National Lampoon’s Comedy House, wholly owned and operated by Comedy House LLC, is pleased to announce it is launching its first comedy club at Dave & Buster’s.  The first National Lampoon’s Comedy House will be located Dave & Busters at 261 Airport Plaza Blvd. in Farmingdale, NY, and Ron Palillo (Horshack from Welcome Back, Kotter fame) and JJ Walker (JJ from Good Times fame) will host the first two opening weekends on June 6th and 13th with shows at 8 PM and 10 PM.

On Friday and Saturday nights, National Lampoon¹s Comedy House will feature nationally known comics as seen on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Comedy Central, Showtime and HBO as well as local comics from Long Island. In addition, customers who pay $20 admission (plus a two drink minimum) in June will receive a grand opening special promotional FREE Dave & Buster¹s Game Card to play arcade and video games. Food will also be available.

Hosting the first National Lampoon’s Comedy House will bring fresh entertainment opportunities for Dave & Buster’s guests, expressed Greg Corbly, General Manager, Dave & Buster’s, Farmingdale, NY. This is an historic event.

On May 11th, Dave & Buster’s hosted a National Lampoon¹s Comedy House benefit, A Day For Ray (Garvey). Garvey, who¹s been a retired cop, actor, producer, and comedian and has starred in HBO’s The Sopranos, NBC¹s Law & Order, and The Devil¹s Advocate, has been battling cancer since January.
