Call for Artists: East End Arts Council Juried All Media Art Show, FOOD

(Riverhead, NY) —The East End Arts Council will be accepting submissions for the juried art show FOOD, which will run from July 18-August 22, 2008.  The show is open to all media including poetry. Artists may submit artwork for consideration to the EEAC gallery, 133 East Main Street, Riverhead, on July 10, 11, and 12 from 10 AM-4 PM.

The guest jurors for the show will be collector Karel Deleeuw and Gallery Merz owner Eliska Jeansonne.  For more info on our jurors please visit http://www.eastendarts.org/gallery/juror.html. The opening reception will be held on Friday, July 18th from 5-8 PM. The public is invited. Special participation by The Long Island Farm Bureau and Suffolk County Community College Culinary Arts and Hospitality Center promises to make the opening reception a feast for the mouth as well as the eyes.
