The Last Laff Comedy Club Grand Opening
THE LAST LAFF COMEDY CLUB - GRAND OPENING JUNE 14TH!
(Plainview, NY) – The Last Laff Comedy Club is officially scheduled to open its doors Saturday, June 14, 2008 with the launching of their Summer Comedy Series. Long Island’s hottest new comedy spot will feature comedians from Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, Conan O’Brien, Letterman, Leno, The View and more. Some comedians set to take stage at the 2008 Last Laff Summer Comedy Series include Al Lubel, Paul Venier, Jeff Norris, Tony Woods, Scott Paparcuri, Willy Sacco, and Ralph Murphy. The Last Laff is centrally located off the Long Island Expressway, Exit 48 in the beautiful Four Points by Sheraton Hotel (333 South Service Road, Plainview, NY 11803). Show time is 8:30 PM.

Ralph Murphy, co-owner of the venture, is a stand-up comedian of nine years who was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Huntington, NY. Being the youngest of five siblings and a retired New York City police officer has lent itself to a wealth of comedy for this Long Island native. He has an acting background and most recently submitted his directorial debut short film “The Taken” to several film festivals, including Sundance Film Festival. As a comedian, Murphy has performed for the troops through the USO and appeared on ABC’s The View. He has also worked with Colin Quinn, Jay Leno and Joy Behar among others.
