Mark Wood Brings “Orchestra Rocks” Program to Five Towns College on Saturday July 12th
Dix Hills, NY — Emmy winning composer and original member of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Mark Wood, will be bringing his vast musical knowledge and expertise to Long Island for “Orchestra Rocks” on Saturday July 12th 2008 at Five Towns College in Dix Hills. The event will begin with a clinic from 2:15 till 6:15pm and will culminate with a not to be missed concert performance by Mr. Wood himself at 7:30pm.
Mr Wood, besides being an internationally known recording artist (also previously working with with the likes of Celine Dion, Billy Joel and Lenny Kravitz) has become a world renowned music educator with his “Electrify Your Strings” program, and is the inventor of the Viper, Sabre and Stingray electric violins as well as the cobra electric cello.
