Youth Empowerment/Stop the Violence Campaign
The Islip Town Branch NAACP, Urban League of Long Island, and PAL are sponsoring a Youth Empowerment/Stop the Violence Campaign scheduled for Thursday August 14, 2008 thru Sunday, August 17, 2008. The event’s primary focus areas are health, education, financial literacy, political action, and community investment. All events are FREE!

Through the inaugural, “Islip Town NAACP Youth Empowerment Campaignâ€, we will provide a platform of constant support for at-risk youth residing in the various communities throughout Islip Town.
