East End Arts Council Raffles Honda Metropolitan at An Evening in Red
 
Riverhead, NY – This year’s East End Arts Council annual fundraiser is themed An Evening in Red and will take place on the EEAC grounds (133 East Main Street, Riverhead) on September 6th from 7-11 pm. Tickets for the event are $100 each.

Through the generous support of Honda of Riverhead, the Council plans to raffle off a sleek, red 2008 Honda Metropolitan scooter as part of its fundraising efforts.  The raffle tickets are $20 each, and can be purchased at the EEAC prior to and on the night of the event with cash or check. The drawing will be held at the event. The winner need not be present, but with what’s planned, it’s an evening not to be missed:

Dinner and dancing will take place under a festive tent with the Kumalo Band playing their unique musical style, which reflects influences from South African traditional folk, to contemporary jazz, to salsa. Their show is electric, and will bring even the most reluctant dancer to the floor.  Maple Tree will add to the spice with their delicious summer fare, and Henry Broggi of South Bay Auctions will call out bids on unique items, including one-of-a-kind cultural experiences.
