Sequoya Middle School Summer Reading Program
 
The Sequoya Building Leadership Team (BLT) sponsored a summer reading program and contest to encourage Sequoya Middle School students to continue reading for fun and enrichment during the summer months.
 
Participating students completed a summer reading journey review and summary about each book that they read.  They received a raffle entry for each submitted review and winners received gift certificates from Borders. Therefore, students who read more than one book increased their chances of winning the gift certificate. Entries were verified by parents.
 
Winners are anxiously looking forward to a shopping spree to further enhance their reading skills and quest for knowledge. The Sequoya Building Leadership Team is proud to acknowledge the commitment of these dedicated students.
