Really Thankful: Pre Party Hosts & Float Appearance at Macy’s Thankgiving Day Parade, Homecoming concert on Long Island for Holiday CD, 1000 Sweatshirts for the Homeless – Push Play Pushes Hard
Melville, NY The phenom which has become Push Play just keeps getting bigger. It was announced today that on Wednesday November 26th, the Long Island wonders will be adding another stop on their Thanksgiving weekend agenda; as the host band entertaining guests at the pre-party the night before the parade when the floats are being blown up.
“I challenge any band to show that they are working harder than these guys are this week to give more back to their fans and to their community” said publicist Rick Eberle
As previously reported, the band will be participating in this year’s annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on the HESS “Bridge to the Future” float (THE float for emerging talent and another stepping stone for their inevitable international stardom) on Thanksgiving, Thursday November 27th. They next will perform a concert at the Patchogue Theatre on Friday November 28th to release their limited edition holiday album “DEAR SANTA”.
Finally, as part of their continuing Push Play for Purpose effort, Push Play will spend Saturday November 29th giving out 1000 Push Play sweatshirts to the homeless in Manhattan.
“Breaking all barriers as the only unsigned band to continue making a difference day after day, they plan to walk the streets from dawn to dusk giving back whatever money made made thus far in merch sales and buying sweatshirts for the homeless with the proceeds.” said co-manager Sue Baran.
ABOUT PUSH PLAY
If you haven’t become a phanatic yet, now is the perfect time to jump on the bandwagon; Push Play is coming to a city near you this fall! After announcing their signing with manager Jason Morey, it’s only natural that the boys kicked off their fall showdates with a not to be missed opening performance for the one and only Miley Cyrus at MGM Grand – Foxwoods on September 27th.
The tour has kept the boys on the east coast through Halloween including performances in New York, Pennsylvania, Boston, Nashville and North Carolina. Currently they are heading to the midwest with shows in Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota and Wisconsin before heading back east to Florida and then home to New York for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The band certainly has alot to be thankful for this year, having already achieved milestones in the music business as a band that most teenagers only dream of; signing with Creative Artists Agency, signing with Jason Morey – manager of Miley Cyrus (as co-management with Sue Baran, the mother of lead singer CJ Baran), being dubbed the “new fab four” by Newsday and also being featured in the NY Times and in magazines such as Popstar, J-14, M*Teen, Tiger Beat/Bop and Bleech, performing at the Z100 Zootopia Preshow at the Izod Center, on MTV’s TRL, and selling out NY’s Irving Plaza, Nokia Theatre and The Blender Theatre at Gramercy.
