International Brotherhood of Magicians to Present “Holiday Magic”
International Brotherhood of Magicians (Ring 317) to Present “Holiday Magic” at the
Long Island Children’s Museum December 27h and 28th
(Long Island, N.Y.) The International Brotherhood of Magicians, Ring 317, will be presenting four special year-end shows at the LI Children’s Museum in Garden City, as part of their Holiday Celebration on Saturday, December 27th and Sunday, December 28th,, 2008, at 1PM and 3PM each day.
President of this local chapter of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Robert McEntee, (aka “Magic Bob,”) says the magic club will be sharing one of the oldest, most unique forms of cross generational entertainment to the community at this “most wonderful time of the year”, to remind young and old alike of the wonder in the here and now!
To get you in the mood, the museum is filling their theater with magicians who will even spread out between shows ready to share their best magic with families one on one. You can see two completely different sets of magicians each day! The performance is recommended for children ages 3 and up.
One of the most popular magicians on Long Island for children and adults alike, Magic Bob McEntee promises to thrill his audience as he weaves his spell of wonder, creating sight-defying illusions and logic-defying tricks! “Our job as magicians is to make sure the audience’s imagination comes to life….to let them experience a sense of awe and amazement, as well as joy and laughter,” says McEntee. His performance will close the shows on Sunday, Dec. 28th, with illusions such as making someone appear, special lighting and fire effects and more! He adds, “All of the skilled magicians in these shows are different so you are bound to see something you’ll love, no matter which one you attend.”
Robert McEntee has worked as a magician for over 20 years; tailoring his infamous “Magic Beyond Imagination!” performance to audiences of every size & type – so much so that he had to leave his career as a professional engineer several years ago. He combines these skills for adult / corporate audiences in his “Miracles of the Mind!” presentation, complete with accelerated learning techniques, so that audiences learn usable skills instantly. He is a graduate of Villanova University as well as the Mystery School, the world’s leading theatrical school for magicians.
The Ring President has headlined benefits for an array of charities and institutions throughout the northeast and even Canada, and has appeared in countless shows for corporate, public and private events.
