Sachem’s Seneca Middle Hosts School Empty Bowl Dinner
Eighth-grade art students, National Junior Honor Society members and faculty at Sachem’s Seneca Middle School hosted its second annual Empty Bowl Dinner on Thursday, November 20 to raise money for those in need during the holiday season.
Tickets were sold to participate in the fundraiser, as all attendees enjoyed a table filled with delicious soups. Eighth-grade art students created ceramic bowls and sold them to raise funds. All proceeds were donated to deserving families throughout the community.
Last year, students and faculty raised over $1,800 for families in the community. Seneca Middle School faculty and students were delighted to make the holiday season a better time for all.
