About The Authority Show:
“The Authority” Radio Show came to fruition after creator, Chris Catania, had finished his education in Broadcasting. Chris is a great example of the everyman… with an offbeat attitude and caustic nature. A fan of various people in the Radio Industry from Howard Stern to Opie and Anthony, along with television greats like Johnny Carson, and Comedian, Andy Kaufman, Chris wanted to assemble a broadcast team together to entertain and have lots of fun doing it. He reached out to some folks he was familiar with and pitched the idea for the show: a modern day variety show that incorporated pop culture, sex, and current events. A show everyone could relate to, to some extent.
“The Authority” had a great level of success on WGBB, and did everything they could hope to accomplish there. They had a loyal cult following, great sponsors, but wanted to take the time to access their direction in order to deliver the most high quality shows possible.
